Design
If you put the two products next to each other, without looking at the written names, you will hardly be able to tell which one is which. HP Envy 5660 and HP Envy 5665 are exactly of the same size and weight. Each of them measures by 17.87” x 16.14” x 6.34”, and, considering that both printers have incorporated the functionalities of scanner and copier, they are actually quite compact. On the front side of each model, you can find the 2.65” high-res color touchscreen which promotes such an easy, simple, and intuitive operation. The display is very neat and convenient to look at, and you can easily control the device through the touchscreen. In fact, both HP Envy 5660 and HP Envy 5665 have built-in photo editing functions that allow you to edit and print photos directly. Under the touchscreen, you can find the 25-sheet output tray. On the top, underneath the covering lid, there is the flatbed scanner. Both HP Envy 5660 and HP Envy 5665 come with a 125-sheet input tray and a 15-sheet photo paper tray.

Performance and Features
You can say that HP Envy 5660 and HP Envy 5665 are basically the same machines. They have similar printing speeds of 14 ISO ppm on black, 9 ISO ppm on color. Both are quite fast and reliable, suitable for light to medium duties with up to 400 pages of monthly page volume. The scanner comes with 1200 dpi optical resolution.

However, there is a slight difference in features. Both models already have built-in Wi-Fi, also USB and Ethernet connectivity. HP Envy 5660 supports HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria for mobile printing. Meanwhile, the slightly newer HP Envy 5665 has improved the mobile printing capability by adding the support for more devices and services. HP Envy 5665 can print from iPhone, iPad, Android, and Amazon Kindle Fire, in addition to the three services mentioned above.

HP Envy 5660 vs 5665
HP Envy 5660 and HP Envy 5665 are very similar to each other. If you can benefit from HP Envy 5665’s support for Amazon Kindle Fire, then you can choose the model. Otherwise, you can pick HP Envy 5660 just fine.
