Epson WF 7620 vs WF 7610

Epson WF 7620 and Epson WF 7610 are two multifunction inkjet printers that are able to print on tabloid-size papers and up to 13 inches by 19 inches. They can also scan tabloid-size papers as well. Both printers offer great printing speeds and rich connectivity features. So, what is the difference between Epson WF 7620 vs WF 7610? Which printer does give the best value for the money?

Print Quality
Epson WF 7620 and Epson WF 7610 have comparable print quality. They both work using the DURABrite Ultra pigment-based inks. These inks have superior resistance against water, smudging, and fading. The manufacturer claims that their print results can last for up to 118 years. The ink system consists of four individual cartridges of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks.

Their print performance is excellent. They are great for text and document printing, considering that their print speeds are very fast.They can print in black-and-white at 18 ISO ppm, and in color at 10 ISO ppm. Both are also capable of automatic two-sided printing with 8.7 ISO ppm black-and-white printing speed and 6 ISO ppm color printing speed. They can produce sharp and crisp text. Hence, these are great choices for school and work. However, their image quality is not very good. Media Handling
Epson WF 7620 and Epson WF 7610 are able to print on A3 and Super B papers. Their maximum paper size is 13” x 19”. However, these printers are flexible and versatile that they can print on smaller paper sizes and specialty papers as well, such as photo papers and envelopes.

Each of the two printers is equipped with front and rear paper trays. The front paper tray is for regular papers, whereas the rear paper tray is for specialty papers. However, Epson WF 7620 actually has two front trays. So, the total paper capacity is 500 sheets. On the other hand, Epson WF 7610 only has one front tray with a total capacity of 250 sheets. Each has a 35-sheet automatic document feeder.

Their scanners are also similar. The large-sized scanner is handy for scanning tabloid-size pages. The hardware resolution is only 1200 x 2400 dpi, but the scanner has a maximum resolution of 9600 dpi interpolated. Each printer has a built-in fax.

Both Epson WF 7620 vs WF 7610 are equipped with hi-speed USB 2.0 and Ethernet. In addition, they also have built-in Wi-Fi for wireless printing and Wi-Fi Direct for easy and quick mobile printing. Conclusion
The only significant difference between these two models is the paper capacity. If you regularly print hundreds of pages from week to week, you can benefit from the larger capacity of Epson WF 7620. Otherwise, just choose Epson WF 7610. These printers are great for printing on A3 and Super B papers. They are very fast.
