Epson Perfection V700 is a scanner with features like a dual lens system, high resolution lens up to 4800 dpi, super resolution lens for film scanning up to 6400dpi, and an Epson Matrix CCD. While the software’s name from this scanner are Epson’s scan driver and Epson Creativity Suite including file manager to view image thumbnails, categorize and edit images, create slide shows, and make custom CD or DVD labels. For a better result without dust, scratch, grain, and noise, you can use Silver-fast SE. And if you want to remove surface dust and scratches from scanned images, you can use the Digital ICE Lite Technology.

The Epson Perfection V800 Photo Scanner comes with the state-of-the-art 6400 dpi optical resolution and a remarkable shadow detail in tonal range to allow for smooth gradation and find shadow in detail. The LED light source’s function is allowing you to get fast scans with no required warm-up time and with the Silver fast software, you can get an easy editing and organization of your files. This is also including film holders that can accommodate up to 12 35 mm mounted slides, three 35 mm film strips of up to 18 frames and one medium format strip and one 4” x 5” frame. If you try to use the high-speed mode at 4800 dpi a full-color or monochrome scan, it will take approximately 12.3 ms per line. Talk about speed, the scanning speeds unfortunately are not available for the higher 6400 dpi resolution though will be a bit slower. The resulting photo quality is quite high. Epson V700 vs V800
