Canon MX922 vs HP Envy 4520

Are you confused in choosing between Canon MX922 and HP Envy 4520? Both of these two products are all-in-one printers that are quite affordable and budget-friendly, as each is available under a hundred bucks. An all-in-one printer has various advantages, most notably being cost-efficient and very compact. Design
Both models can be considered as compact and portable. They don’t require very much space. However, we can see that Canon MX922 is taller and thicker. Canon MX922 comes with a sleek and stylish design, featuring a black color that gradually changes into brown at the bottom part of the printer. Canon MX922 is operated using button controls that are well organized and backlit. On the other hand, HP Envy 4520 is not as tall but is wider. It comes with a black color. Paper Tray
Both models have been equipped with input and output paper trays. However, only Canon MX922 that comes with the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), which is very useful and handy for handling multiple documents. Canon MX922 has a lower cassette that can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper, and an upper cassette that can hold up to 20 sheets of 4” x 6” photo paper. The ADF capacity is 35 sheets. On the other hand, HP Envy 4520 has a 100-sheet input tray and a 25-sheet output tray.

Connectivity
Both models support USB 2.0 as well as Wi-Fi. However, Canon MX922 also has an Ethernet port, which can be handy for network use. HP Envy 4520 does not have any Ethernet port.

Output Quality
Canon MX922 is once again better than HP Envy 4520, this time in terms of output quality. If you often print photos, you will benefit the most from Canon MX922. This is because the printer has a much higher resolution. It can print in up to 9600 x 2400 dpi, which is very much higher than HP Envy 4520’s 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi. Hence, pictures can be much more sharper and detailed. The color quality is excellent, too. The two have similar speeds.
